Disruptive Physician Services are Expanded to Include Organizational Anger Management
Hospitals and Health Care Agencies are moving aggresively to address the issue of “disruptive physician” behavior. In addition to Executive Coaching/Anger Management for mandated physician clients, proactive prevention is rapidly becoming one of the most popular interventions currently being requested for this population. Organizational Anger Management can be customized to meet the needs of the requesting agency. Interventions can be provided in small groups or conference type format. This training can be designed for between one and eight hours. In addition to power point presentations, ancilary DVD's, client workbooks as well as Post Tests can be included to document the usefulness of this training. This new proactive intervention is similar to the type of training designed for “sexual harrassment” in it’s focus on prevention. It is supported by Physician Well-Being Committees, Corporate Attorneys, Hospital Executives and Risk Management Officers.
